We travelled as a family in April 2025
Not easy to organise travel for 6 adults and 2 small children (5 and 2 years old).
Mauritians are extremely friendly and we were able to use local buses and taxis without any problems.
For our excursions, we went with our super guide Arnaud who was recommended to us on this forum.
I recommend him, he’s extremely kind, adapts to what you want to visit and gives great advice!

Thanks to Arnaud and his team (Olivier and Lea), we were able to take a private one-day speedboat trip to the North Island: exceptional! ! We were able to snorkel with rays and turtles. It was great! Small private barbecue.
Very fair price.
He was also able to arrange our airport transfers and transfers from flic en flac to grand baie with his partners.
The island is really exceptional and makes us want to explore other areas that we could not do.
